I am a registered dietitian that qualified at UCT with BSc Honors in Nutrition and Dietetics. I have been employed at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital for 21 years which includes the last 15 years of being in the position as Head of the Dietetics Department. I have special interests in food allergies, cystic fibrosis, renal disease and all aspects of GIT nutrition, particularly enteral and parenteral nutrition. I am past SASPEN council member. I am also involved in training and research related to pediatric clinical nutrition. Outside the routine daily work activities, I spend my time mostly with family, but now that they are older I am able to find time to attend my weekly yoga sessions.
