Leigh trained as a nurse in 2002 and after realising her passion in renal nursing, she furthered her studies and obtained a diploma in nephrology at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and B. Cur through UNISA. Leigh, the unit manager at Life Hilton Private Hospital where they manage both haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients and is privileged to work with Professor Brett Cullis. She is an advocate for the dialysis modality that allows a patient to live his/her best life. Thus, her great interest and respect for Peritoneal Dialysis.
