Brett Cullis is a dual accredited nephrologist and specialist intensive care physician practicing at Hilton Life Hospital where he is clinical lead for ICU and Renal Units. He is an honorary associate professor of adult and paediatric nephrology at the University of Cape Town.

His interests are in intensive care nephrology, especially PD for AKI, PD access and development of programs in low resource countries.

He is the immediate past-chair of the Saving Young Lives steering committee and is president-elect of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis.
